Hi Racer People,

i am using Linux Debian Lenny with Kernel 2.6.26.1
with a NVidia 8600GT and the Driver from the Nvidia Company.

I attracted attention that when i setup my Xbox Controller there is a Problem
for Vdrift to specify the right Axis. The Axis Vdrift get differ from time to time in the Setup Menu.

Therefore it would be nice to provide a Pulldown List with the Axis for Steer Left/Right and so on?!

Is this with the release or the development version (trunk)?

I had the same problem at first too. I got it to work though. When you go to edit your controls for steering, make sure you delete all other steering buttons you have previously tried. After that, try to configure your Steering left and right again.

This time keep moving your left Analog stick in the direction that will make the coordinates this: (the 0's are zero's)

Steering left: Edit Joy0 Axis0 (-)

Steering right: Edit Joy0 Axis0 (+)

Keep trying until it says this^^ when you push edit the steering controls. (i think i had to click the analog to the right, for left AND right steering when I edited controls).
