I submitted an update to Apple.com's download listing for VDrift 2006-02-21 since the page is outdated. If someone running it could please submit a new screen shot to downloads@apple.com, hopefully showing the new track (I could make one but it wouldn't look very Apple-y), I would really appreciate it

What you see there was already there. I have no idea what License: Beta means. Apple has some confusing sense of software as being either "freeware, shareware or demo". I suppose VDrift falls under freeware because that's the closest but it's not really just freeware, it's Free Software...
Yay, it was updated finally. Someone (maybe whomever approved the submission) made a screenshot of the XM on Road Atlanta.

on a related note, could you change "OS X" to "Mac OS X" on the site, because that is how it is called ;-)
(like there is no such thing as "X Windows" although it yields 13.5 million google hits)

could you also make the date column in the "Current VDrift releases" table on the frontpage into a link to the actual file?
e.g. the "2006-02-21" field in the "Mac OS X" row should be an link to:

The reason I didn't do that before was because for Linux and FreeBSD it's not so simple to just link to 1 file. So I just linked to the release for those...hopefully people will be able to figure it out.

for freebsd we should perhaps link to a FAQ site that explains how to obtain vdrift from the ports-system, since this is the preferred way to install it in freebsd

It seems that this is already done.
The wiki needs a good bit of work before I'm going to start putting links to it on the front page. Ultimately I'd like to move all the documentation and FAQ links to point at the wiki, but I haven't had time to do this (too busy trying to finish coding). See
