Full Version: New issue tracking site

I've recently set up a new site at http://trac.vdrift.net/ for issue tracking using Trac. I have set up the SVN browser built into Trac, and some other very basic stuff, but the site is not yet ready for any issues to be entered. I'll try to get it ready to go tonight, or sometime this weekend at the latest. Since we have a wiki already, I am going to try to find a way to turn off the Trac wiki, and try to make the site's front page list issues or something.

For now, I need opinions on ViewVC (the Subversion browser used at http://svn.vdrift.net/) vs. the Subversion browser built into Trac (here: http://trac.vdrift.net/browser). Since we have the source browser in Trac can I just turn off ViewVC and make svn.vdrift.net redirect to it? Or is it worth keeping? I haven't yet had a chance to really compare the two closely.
i prefer the trac one, although i'm not sure how to change the repository
Well that, along with authentication, haven't been set up yet. I've been pretty busy but catching up slowly...I'll fix it up soon and post when finished. Currently the SVN repos keeps going down and I have to manually recover it with svnadmin, I hope this isn't a side effect of using Trac...
