Like a big kid i tried to modify the cars to see how fast they can go, the fastest i managed was about 370mph before the programme crashed
By crashed do you mean you got a simulation error or the program died without quitting?
Sim errors come commonly when there is a high speed collision or a collision with something shaped strangely. That could be part of it. Also there's a sim error thrown when you get to 600 km/h to try to help catch the case where the cars fly off the track, but it doesn't catch it well anyway...
370 mi/h * 1.62 km/h / mi/h = 599.4 km/h
