I installed vdrift, downloaded sdl library as explained and it seems to work.

But when i start driving after some curves suddenly de FPS lows to an unplayable level (almost blocked). It continue playing and it seems to recover from time to time (some senconds), but i must close it in order to get it working normally.

Does anybody happens the same?

I have winXP SP2 ATi9600 pro with lastest drivers.

Please try turning down some of the display options, such as view distance. This might help. Also the latest version has some graphics performance increases, however, there is no packaged version so it must be compiled from source.
