I have read the posts concerning the usbsnoop and getting the ff to work, but I haven't found any info on how to get the pedals reported as separate (axises). As you know in Windows it's done within the driver/Logitech software, but is there any way to accomplish this in Linux? I guess all I need to do is to send the wheel some "magic bytes" to set the correct mode, but that's way beyond my skills if it's even possible Sad Any help?
What wheel do you have? I've been messing with usbsnoop to get the codes for setting my DFP to 900 degree mode but not having much luck yet. I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to set all the settings that are available in Logitech's Windows driver programs. Maybe we should just get in touch with the Wingman Team and see if they can give us the USB codes.
I have a DFP. I also tried to snoop the usb-bus, but the app seemed to log everything else but what I was looking for Sad Contacting the wingman team could be the way to go Smile Shall we contact the team individually or as vdrift-related "team"?
I emailed one of the Wingman Team members, the one listed for the Profiler, last night. I asked him for some help with USB control codes. Watch the forums for any info I get in response.
